IAERE Visiting PhD Scholarship
The IAERE Visiting PhD Scholarship is awarded to PhD students in environmental and resource economics during the annual IAERE Summer School. With this Scholarship, the Association aims to foster scientific exchange, strengthen research networks, and promote high-quality research on key environmental and resource economics issues at the national, European, and global levels. Eligible candidates must be PhD students in economics or related disciplines with a clear research focus on environmental and resource economics. Applicants must be members of IAERE at the time of application. The proposed research visit must take place at an institution other than the candidate’s home university and must be supported by an invitation letter from the host institution. Applications are evaluated based on the academic quality of the research project, its relevance to environmental and resource economics, the expected contribution of the research visit to the PhD dissertation, and the candidate’s academic record.
